Cancun International Airport (CUN) is Mexico’s second-busiest airport, sitting about 14 miles from the Hotel Zone’s resorts.

Three Active Terminals

CUN operates Terminals 2, 3, and 4 (an original Terminal 1 is no longer in passenger use), each served by its own bus stop for ground transportation into town.

ADO Bus or Taxi to the Hotel Zone

The ADO bus line runs directly from the terminals to Plaza Fiesta in the Hotel Zone, a budget alternative to the 20 to 35 minute taxi or private transfer most resorts arrange in advance.

One Airport for Cancun and the Riviera Maya

CUN also serves as the main gateway for the wider Riviera Maya, including Playa del Carmen and Tulum, so many visitors headed further south still fly into Cancun and transfer by road.
